After learning about how Sir Isaac Newton created the color wheel, students created their own.
Sixth graders studied cool and warm color schemes. We then used the wet-on-wet watercolor technique to paint the background in either cool or warm colors, then used a wet-on-dry method to paint the bird using the opposite color scheme.
